Under the theme “Built around your operation,” Royal Burgers is bringing its complete product line for the specialized double-deck market to IAA Transportation 2026. The lineup ranges from urban distribution and flexible long-distance transport to smart trailer technology and a new double-deck solution for warehouse-to-warehouse transport.
Built around the transportation operation
Every transport operation has its own requirements. Urban distribution requires maneuverability and good accessibility, while long-distance transport is primarily about load capacity and efficiency. Routes, loading processes, warehouse infrastructure, and cargo dimensions also determine which solution is the best fit.
That is why Royal Burgers develops Double Deck technology tailored to the customer’s daily operations. At IAA, this approach is evident across the entire product line.
Different solutions for different routes
The City Double Deck is designed for urban and regional distribution. The trailer combines high load capacity with the maneuverability needed for deliveries to stores and other locations where space is limited.
The Drawbar Double Deck is suitable for transport networks that combine long-distance travel with urban distribution. The trailer can be part of an EcoCombi configuration and can be uncoupled when necessary, allowing the truck to continue on its own.
Royal Burgers is also showcasing its Smart System. The system connects directly to the trailer’s sensors and functions, providing greater insight into its condition, safety, and utilization. This supports predictive maintenance and improves fleet availability.
A new Double Deck solution
Together with Emons, Royal Burgers is also introducing a new Double Deck solution for warehouse-to-warehouse transport. It combines compatibility with standard loading docks with a flexible hydraulic floor system, smart controls, and a design that makes optimal use of the available loading space.
The system can also be set to an internal height of 2.50 meters for conventional loads, which makes the trailer versatile enough to be used in a variety of transport operations and warehouse environments.
With this comprehensive product line, Royal Burgers demonstrates how Double Deck technology can provide greater load capacity, fewer trips, and more efficient use of trailers and drivers.
From September 15 to 20, Royal Burgers will be located in Hall 27, Booth F38, and in the outdoor area at Booth S33 in Hanover.
