About Us
Burgers celebrates its 100th anniversary, and we are proud of this milestone! What began in the 1920s as a company building farm carts and agricultural vehicles has evolved into an innovative player in trailer manufacturing. In 1925, Koos Burgers took over from his stepfather and named the company J.S. Burgers. It soon focused on constructing enclosed bodywork for businesses at the flower auction in Aalsmeer.
In the 1980s, the company relocated to its current site and was named Burgers Carrosserie. In the early 2000s, the concept for the revolutionary Double Deck trailer emerged, quickly achieving global success. Today, our trailers are a common sight on European roads and far beyond.
Burgers is the specialist in custom-built trailers and sustainable transport solutions. In addition to manufacturing our innovative Double Deck trailers, we also provide maintenance and repair services through an extensive European dealer and service network. With innovation, quality, and service as our core values, we continue to make transport smarter and more efficient.
