What you will do
As a Logistics Associate, you are an indispensable part of our warehouse and logistics process. Both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and remains organized. You work with the ERP system on a daily basis and perform various administrative tasks. In addition, you actively deepen your knowledge of materials so that you can effectively support others in this area. You enjoy helping customers in a service-oriented manner. The main responsibilities are:
- Manage inventory and identify in a timely manner when goods need to be ordered.
- Requesting quotes and placing and tracking orders.
- Checking and processing incoming goods in the system.
- Ensure that materials are in the right place at the right time in the warehouse, within the company, and at domestic and international customers' locations.
- Packing and shipping materials for domestic and international customer orders, including arranging transportation.
When interacting with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, you are clear and customer-focused. You have a natural knack for following procedures and taking responsibility. You identify what needs to be done, take the initiative, and see it through to completion. In this way, you help maintain a well-organized warehouse that everyone can rely on.
What to bring
- A completed vocational degree in logistics, retail, or a related field
- At least five years of work experience in logistics, preferably in a technical environment
- Experience working in a service and maintenance environment is a plus
- Experience working with logistics and administrative processes
- Strong communication and customer-focused skills, both internally and externally
- A desire to further expand your knowledge of materials
- A forklift operator's license or a willingness to obtain one through us
- Experience with an ERP system (experience with Ridder is a plus)
- Proficiency in Dutch and English
